I AMsterdam
My third time in Amsterdam, and each time it keeps getting better and better. This time I went there for the weekend mostly to meet a good friend that I haven’t seen in a long time (you can check out her blog here). And what a weekend it was. From tasting warm wort at the Heineken brewery, to eating Argentinian steak late at night, or getting lost in the Red Light District searching for some street with an impossible name, it was a blast. Thanks Geo & Robert for the warm welcome and being such good hosts – the services will be reciprocated soon 🙂
Delirium
Every beer lover should come to Brussels – if not for the Belgian beer, at least for Delirium, the best bar I’ve ever seen. It’s really heaven. HEAVEN. They have on the menu more than 2.000 different kinds of beer from all around the world. We spent Friday night in Delirium traveling from continent to continent through beer. Brands from Kenya, Sri Lanka, Peru, Malaysia, you name it. Plus, we met a bunch of other cool people, mostly Americans, with whom we hanged out till almost 4 in the morning.
Picture this: a Romanian hanging out with Americans drinking Kenyan beer in a Belgian bar. You can’t make this shit up.
